Samsung’s SoFi Infinity Screen Shows Real Value
I explore Samsung’s infinity screen at SoFi Stadium as a strong example of hardware innovation with clear purpose. Rather than existing for novelty, it improves the live stadium experience through scores, replays and sponsor visibility.
Key Takeaways
- Effective hardware innovation should deliver practical value, not just impressive specifications.
- The SoFi Stadium infinity screen enhances the fan experience with scores, replays and shared visibility.

So check out the infinity screen at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. This is done by Samsung. In a previous video, I criticised modern hardware innovation, that we obsess about the hardware, but we don't show really good utilisation of it and value. I think this is an example where this is beneficial to everyone in the stadium. It's showing the scores, it's showing replays, probably commercially quite a powerful message to the sponsors as well. And I think everyone in the stadium will be glad to see this rather than just having there for the sake of it. So this looks like a sign of genius to me. I've not been to the stadium, but I'd love to see this. If anyone from LA Rams would like to invite me over, I would love to come. But from what I can see, this is a sign of genius, and it's five out of five from me.
