The high street may be dying, but can technology bring it back? I think it would be fair to say that retail does need to reinvent itself in the modern era. A lot of more people are shopping online, and therefore the use of our physical retail space has come under question. Now, there's still a role here for retail environments to play. And if they use clever technology like this, a screen where someone could actually try on the clothes outside of the shop and see themselves on it. I think they might be onto something. There is a fine line between making technology actually helpful and gimmicky. I think this errs a little bit towards the gimmick. But that said, I'm probably not the target audience for this. And this may become increasingly common and a simpler way to try things on without having to physically go in, ask and do it. So I consider this to be quite a sign of genius. I'm giving it three out of five. What do you think?
